Turkey Trot 5K (2019)

WOW!!! What a Great Success
 

Our club set out to attract 100 runners/walkers this year to our second annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk to raise funds for the Daily Bread Community Food Pantry (dailybreadcommunityfoodpantry.org). 

Our community didn't disappoint us.  They came out in force to support this initiative as well as to have fun.  We had 242 runners/walkers of all ages and abilities participate and made this a grand success.  We couldn't have asked for more.  Even mother nature cooperated and gave us a perfect day.

 
Holidays are a great time to enjoy with family and friendship.  However, it is also a very stressful time for families that are food insecure.  Your participation and contribution will give much needed help to the less fortunate people in our community.  We want to thank all those that participated in the race as well as all the sponsors and volunteers that came forward to help.  This couldn't have been done without you.
 
We look forward to hosting this event in future years.
