Collegeville Rotary proudly inducted its newest member, Sarah Charles, during a warm and welcoming Rotary Connect Mixer held on June 25 at The Library. Surrounded by fellow Rotarians, friends, and supporters, Sarah was officially welcomed into the Rotary family in a ceremony that highlighted her commitment to community and service.
The evening included remarks from Rotary President Jay B
rowning, who praised Sarah’s impressive background in government service and her current leadership as Vice-Chair of the Board of Supervisors for Lower Providence Township. He noted her alignment with Rotary’s values and her enthusiasm for membership engagement and community impact.
Adding a special touch to the evening, Sarah’s husband, Rusty, joined her in celebration. His presence underscored the strong support Sarah brings with her as she begins her Rotary journey.
“We’re thrilled to have Sarah on board,” said Brenda Browning, Club Secretary. “She brings energy, experience, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Her voice will be a valuable one as we continue our efforts in growing and serving the community.”
The mixer also gave members and guests the
chance to connect, enjoy refreshments, and share ideas about Rotary’s mission and upcoming initiatives. With Sarah’s induction, the club takes another step forward in its commitment to “Service Above Self.”
