Since 1995 Mr. Yeager has trained over 100,000 local, state and federal law enforcement officers. Mr. Yeager is a frequent expert with media outlets including a featured episode of Forensic Files [“Bump and Run” Season 3, Episode 21 2002] and a new History Channel series entitled ‘True Monsters’. Mr. Yeager has lectured at many higher education institutions throughout the U.S. such as Drexel and Howard universities. Mr. Yeager is an instructor for the Neumann University and Peirce College Criminal Justice Programs. Mr Gensler and Dr. Collins will give us a presentation about SCORE, a small business mentoring program. Dr. Collings will also share her personal experiences on how SCORE helped her 20 years ago to start her consulting company Positive Trends, Inc. She attended a SCORE Pottstown Chapter women's symposium in Limerick this past June and became inspired to become a volunteer at SCORE.
About Score: SCORE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides free business mentoring services to prospective and established small business owners in the United States. More than 10,000 volunteers provide these services, with all volunteers being active and retired business executives and entrepreneurs.[1] In addition to mentoring, SCORE also offers free and low-cost educational workshops each year, both online and in-person. SCORE is a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration. It operates out of 300 chapters across the U.S., with national headquarters in Herndon, Virginia.[1] |

Brian Desvars is a Rotary Exchange student from Paraguay and has been attending school at Methaction High School since August. He aply played Santa Claus this year in our 62nd Annual Collegeville Rotary Halloween Parade. He had never been inside a fire engine, and was very happy to have experienced this at such a young age, 17! He will be speaking to our club about his home country and family and about his Exchange experience has been so far. |

He is the chair of the regional Sierra Club group. "Ready For 100" is what is energizing most of Sierra Club volunteers these days. Jim is a strong advocate for renewable energy as a solution to environmental impacts of burning, extracting and transporting fossil fuels. Bill Sabey is a volunteer leader with the Ready For 100 team in Montgomery County. Bill lives in Plymouth Meeting and serves on the Environmental Advisory Board their. Bill has been making presentations to township supervisors and environmental committees in Montco and neighboring communities to encourage goal setting and planning for a transition to 100% renewable energy.
