Professional Development at Ursinus College

Sharon works to develop and nurture relationships with organizations leading to internship and job opportunities for Ursinus students and alumni. She is the liaison to employers in organizing and implementing efforts to recruit and hire UC students through job/internship postings, on campus interviews, information sessions, and the annual Job, Internship and Networking Fair. Sharon also assists UC students in defining and pursuing their career goals as a Career Advisor.

Background

Sharon came to Ursinus in 2011 after working in the Bi-College Career Development Office at Bryn Mawr College & Haverford College for over a decade. There she led the employer relations efforts for both institutions while also working with students as a Career Counselor.
Sharon is an active professional having held leadership positions with the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers including twice serving on the Board of Directors and receiving the Outstanding Member Award in 2009.

Sharon loves working at liberal arts colleges and is proud to be part of the Ursinus community.
